Beyoncé’s activewear line IVY PARK is teaming up with Adidas for its next collection which will feature unisex and gender-neutral styles – as well as accessories and footwear – for the first time ever.
Beyoncé has finally taken to Instagram to announce the release date of her much-anticipated collaboration with Adidas.
According to a series of teaser photos that she’s been uploading since yesterday, the new line will drop on January 18 and is set to include accessories and shoes, as well as a revamped collection of her popular IVY PARK activewear.
No stranger to taking risks, Queen B’s creative process is just as innovative as her performances (we’ve all seen that iconic Coachella set).
Having recently bought back the rights to her company, she told Elle in an interview that all upcoming collections will feature unisex and gender-neutral items in response to the ever-growing demand for more inclusivity in fashion. It’s a particularly on-brand move given Beyoncé’s frequent push for increased industry diversity in recent years. ‘The way men have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift,’ she said. ‘I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules.’
