With a high calibre line up, Lady Gaga’s World: Together At Home concert will be offering a little entertainment in these dark times.
I don’t know about you, but one of the biggest annoyances that’s come with Covid-19 is the cancellation of almost every single big event this year. Summer is usually the time for festivals, gigs, and stadium concerts, but all of that has had to be panned for 2020.
That’s not to say we’ll be without some performances to get us by, however. Various artists such as James Blake, Rex Orange County, and Doja Cat have put on their own shows via Instagram Live, with many others to follow suit in the next few weeks.
The biggest of all of these efforts has to be Lady Gaga’s World: Together At Home concert, which will air this Saturday and features an eye-wateringly large amount of top global artists. The event is being held in partnership with the World Health Organisation and Global Citizen, and will be available to watch on YouTube, Instagram, and on the BBC if you’re a UK viewer.
All involved artists will be chipping in with their performances via video links, with the show being hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert. Expect late night talk show vibes mixed with an extravagant Zoom meeting – it should be interesting either way.
Some of the top acts include Elton John, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin, and tons of others. You can view the full line up below.
