Bought yourself an NFT and want to show it off in your own home? You can now purchase a real display that will broadcast each NFT from various angles, like a moving picture frame.
NFTs are questionable – both environmentally and economically – but that wonβt stop the market from booming.
This new βNFT Displayβ by Tokenframe is the latest product to demonstrate the explosive popularity of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Bought yourself a Bored Ape NFT and want to show it off to guests? Thatβs now possible, apparently.
These new anti-glare screens were created to specifically house NFT artwork, rendering them at a crisp 1080p resolution. All you need to do is log into your NFT wallet via Metamask, Fortmatic, or WalletConnect and link up your profile with the Tokenframe app.
According to the productβs creators, youβll be able to change the digital image borderβs size colour, and the amount of images shown at once. Slideshows are also available with customisable rotation options.
There are plenty of reasons why you probably shouldnβt be buying NFTs, however. They require vast amounts of energy to function, gobbling up a disproportionate amount of resources compared to other internet commodities.
The general public consensus toward NFTs is largely negative, too.
Many view them as a tax avoidance Ponzi scheme and another way for the worldβs richest people to obtain more cash. Youβll no doubt have seen tons of artists and celebrities jump on the NFT bandwagon on Twitter in the past few months, further contributing to the publicβs feeling of disdain.
