Starting this week, you can view Studio Ghibli’s entire back catalogue of animated films, though they won’t all be available at once.
Anyone looking to get into animated films for the first time should head straight to Netflix over the next few months, as Studio Ghibli will be releasing its entire catalogue in scattered stages in the lead up to the summer.
Seven films are now available to watch if you’re viewing outside the US, including the studio’s first ever release from 1986, The Castle In The Sky, as well as My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki’s Delivery Service. The remaining films will be released in March and April. It’s the perfect introduction to animated cinema and many of Studio Ghibli’s works are considered masterpieces, so you’ve got no excuse not to give these films a try.
