Hey there, I’m Aashka. I hail from Mumbai and I study PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) at King’s College London. I find headwinds shaping Indian (and international politics), innovation in business, applied economic models and institutional dynamics especially fascinating. I explore the tides and cross-currents in these arenas in my pieces for Thred! You can reach out to me with ideas and feedback via email.

As my degree suggests, exploring big concepts such as free will, independence, development, justice and democracy with philosophical rigour is something I savour immensely. When I’m tired after my intellectual toils, you can find me immersed in a novel (most likely a victorian or Russian one and almost certainly written by a dead person) while listening to a jazz vinyl record.
