Changemakers to meet with Dalai Lama in online event

Big names including Killer Mike, Buffy Sainte-Marie, and twelve others will be chatting to the Dalai Lama via video call, asking for advice on social change.

Have you been using Zoom for your everyday lessons or company meetings?

Twelve change-makers and big name influencers are about to step-up their video conference bragging rights, as they’ll be given the opportunity to chat directly to the Dalai Lama about all things social change, humanitarian rights, and pro-active movements of hope.

Titled ‘Be the Love for ONE Better World’, the live session will be taking place on April 12th at 4:30pm BST (UK); 9:00am Indian Standard Time (April 11th at 11:30pm NYC or 8:30pm LA). Not up yet? No worries, you can register for a link to watch on your own clock.

The Dalai Lama will be taking questions from Michael Render, aka Killer Mike, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Beatrice Martin, Stephanie Benedetto, Susan Rockefeller, Emmanuel Jal, Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, Mozhdah Jamalzadah, Vivienne Harr, Clover Hogan, Raheen Fatima, and Massey Whiteknife.

Organised by One Better World Collective and Be The Love, The Dalai Lama will be taking questions for a full hour, with a focus on universal responsibility toward issues such as migration and climate change.

Fancy getting involved? You can watch the live webcast in Tibetan, English, Chinese, and other languages on the official Dalai Lama website, or register here as part of the One Better World Collective.

Registration is free and anybody can take part – though you’ll be watching the events unfold rather than asking questions yourself. Best leave that to Killer Mike, eh?

You can also check out a variety of other online teachings and video calls that take place all throughout April. A webcast teaching is set to take place on April 7th, with teachings on The Four Noble Truths and The Two Truths.

It’ll no doubt be a better time than the usual company Zoom meetings!
