Thred Talk – The politics of poppies | Remembrance Day

Every year people around the world don a red poppy in remembrance of the world-shattering events of WWI and WWII. But, in recent years, a debate regarding whether the symbol of the poppy has been co-opted by the media and by overt political bias has put its status into question. Imogen and Elliot discuss what remembering these wars means to their generation of young people.
