Tiffany & Co. pledges $2 million to Covid-19 relief

The jewellery brand is planning to donate 100% of the profits from it’s ‘Infinite Strength’ collection to charities supporting vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic.

As companies with the means to do so continue stepping up to help in any way they can, Tiffany & Co. is redoubling its efforts with a new commitment to Covid-19 related causes. Following its $1 million pledge back in April, the jewellery brand has announced it will be donating a further $2 million to vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic.

Starting today through to August 31, all profits from the sales of its latest collection, suitably titled ‘Infinite Strength,’ will go to CARE. The international humanitarian organisation is striving to end global poverty and is currently focused on giving those most impacted by Covid-19 – such as woman and people of colour – funds that’ll allow them to regain financial stability.

‘With this campaign, our customers can join Tiffany in spreading a message of strength and optimism,’ said the brand in a statement.

‘The Tiffany Infinite Strength campaign reflects our commitment to supporting the most vulnerable communities affected by COVID-19, whose recovery is critical as the world begins to move forward.’

Consisting of 37 pieces including bracelets, earrings, rings, and pendants, with prices ranging from £150 to £4,500 GBP, the collection aims to help 80,000 people in Africa, China, and southeast Asia. And in the US, homebound residents will be delivered food and other essentials, while unemployed gig economy workers will be provided with an income.

The project also wants to stand by CARE in its fight to provide small businesses with financial continuity and to realise the potential of women and girls in the developing world who have been hit hardest by poverty.

If you’re interested in supporting the cause, you can now purchase items from ‘Infinite Strength’ on Tiffany & Co.’s official website.
