Sneakers raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness

Nike and Sneaker Room prepare for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a collaborative range of sneakers that will raise funds in support of research charities.

Teaming up once again to honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Nike and Sneaker Room have organised a special edition release of React Element 87 SR Qs dropping this weekend.

The extremely limited range will arrive in three colourways. 525 pairs of pink, 126 pairs of white and only 63 pairs of black, with each shoe featuring a unique number on the heel tab.

The black version is decorated with Swarovski crystals on the Swoosh and all of them have ‘SR Cares’ branding at the tongue.

Other unique finishing touches include the official mission slogan that can be found on the plugs embedded into the exterior rivets on the React’s sole unit.

This isn’t the first time the duo have come together either, having previously raised money for the same cause in 2017 with a trio of Air More Moneys.

October is set to turn everything pink and Nike X SR are getting on board, ‘changing the world one sole at a time.’ Expect the collab to drop on September 28th exclusively in-store at Sneaker Room and online.

Pink/Pink will retail for $250 USD; White/Pink will retail for $500 USD and Black/Pink will retail for $1000 USD. 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Jersey City Medical Center.
